Our Clubhouse serves as the perfect choice when looking for a home away from home to relax and unwind, or as the ultimate venue for an elegant gourmet dinner for two, or for entertaining family, friends, or business associates.

Whether our members and guests plan on dining formally or choose more casual fare, the Hope Club's brilliant culinary staff offers a menu that is unrivaled. For parties, weddings, or business meetings, a variety of beautifully appointed rooms are available.  If entertaining as few as five or more than three hundred and fifty guests, the Hope Club assures our members and guests that their special event will be one to remember. Our guest rooms and suites, well appointed and lavishly detailed, provide a delightful alternative to local hotels. Established in 1875 by a group of fifteen gentlemen from Providence, the Hope Club was chartered by the state of Rhode Island in 1876 "for the purposes of social and literary culture." For more than 130 years, the Hope Club has maintained the tradition of excellence established so long ago.
